Would highly recommend it. It opens you up to all sorts of mental examination. It is not best done on this board. I was trying to write a paper for historical/public affairs journals about the point of no return for a president/king/PM or whatever. Basically when was the threshold crossed that he would have to go out like Saddam and Kadaffi and are Putin/Xi there.
In this process I struck up a correspondence with a radical UC Santa Cruz emeritus prof. What I would like to share is that we both got another friend, and his radical perspective on conservatism. He does not disdain us but views us as necessary to guide progress. You can think of us as people holding rubber ropes tied to people and letting them go one way or another with more ease.
