I was getting ready to send a gmail to my brothers saying that Drew Brees has done it again. But I waited for the game to end before I sent it. As then it happened. I said out loud I can't believe it. What an ending.

Oh and btw the Vikings have a chance to be the first team to host a Super Bowl. And they will be playing a team without their starting qb.

Great ending, four lead changes in last three minutes. I missed most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters. I did see most of the scoring in it.

Minnesota has had some last second playoff disasters in years past. This crazy one actually worked in their favor. One of the craziest playoff endings.

Qbs in this year conference championships, Blake Bortles vs Tom Brady, Case Keenum vs Nick Foles.

Who would ever thought these qbs would be in their conference championships trying to get to a super bowl. Keenum and Foles are both back up which is crazy.

NFL is just like wrestling an entertainment industry who controls the outcomes of games . Same thing ever week one team takes a big lead and to keep viewers all of a sudden the other team comes storming back for a miracle finish great entertainment watching missed tackles and receivers open on 4th downs.

As I’ve mentioned on her many times, I don’t watch pro ball because of all of the drama associated with it etc. So I’m watching the news last night and I see the highlight from this game. Now I hate to come off as a conspiracy nut but the first thing I thought when the Minnesota receiver caught the game winning td was that the game was fixed. In my opinion the defender went out of his way to not tackle the receiver.

Now I don’t give a crap one way or the other who wins but I thought it looked ridiculous and apparently others may agree. I have no idea if this guy is a Saints fan or not but I agree with his thoughts.

Not a conspiracy, just a rookie safety arriving a second too early and trying to make a play while avoiding interference. If 43 hits Diggs without altering his course, he gets called for pass interference. Vikings ball at the 43 and they have an opportunity to kick a 50 yard FG for the win. Even if 43 is able to slow himself and gather for a tackle, unless he is able to wrangle Diggs in bounds (which would be hard given both their momentum is to the sideline) the Vikings have a chance for a 50 yd FG. The ideal scenario is that 43 timed his approach better and was able to make a well-timed hit on Diggs that breaks up the pass or at least makes the tackle. It was a bad play, but not a conspiracy.

Bell, this video in particular is less than convincing. The guy, Ybarra, says he needed to make a tackle with 0 seconds - Not true, there were 3 seconds left when he caught it. He then goes on to fault 43 for not trying to get up and chase him down. Come on, Usain Bolt couldn't get off the ground and chase Diggs down over 25 yards when he has a 10 yard headstart.

Yeah the comment the guy making the video made about the defender not trying to chase the receiver down AFTER he whiffed was lost on me as well. Perhaps you’re right but in that situation it would seem you would do whatever to disrupt, even if you draw a flag instead of just letting the guy catch the ball uncontested? That safety was deep to keep everything in front so he comes up and did nothing when he had plenty of time to stop and wrap the guy up imo.

Plays like this give a false hope to OU secondary players hoping to make the league.

I think that play was a direct result of the targeting penalty that has taken over the NFL and college. A few years ago, without the targeting penalty he blows that guy up, but now because that has been called all the time the DB was a little tentative to hit a "defenseless receiver".

Tough play for a rookie who has played well all year.

Or just bad tackeling. He had his head down and forearm out. He could’ve wrapped up made a sure tackel but he was going for the WR legs almost with his eyes closed.

But why then was the Patriots-Titans game a beatdown? Super Bowl 47 featured the Denver Broncos, the greatest offense of all time, and the Seahawks had beaten them by halftime.

Certainly, there seems to be a game every week that looks to be all but over that turns into a classic. But you're ignoring the many games that are over before the 4th quarter begins.

In fairness, if carson Wentz were healthy, I think philly runs away with this.

Idk about that the Jags have the number 1 defense that team flys to the ball very good team, Bortles is just okay he does what he has to do to keep the team moving. And Fournette has been having a damn good year with the Jags.

I imagine he wished he did a lot of things different on that play. It seems that in the moment, he realized he was coming in too soon and made a poor adjustment.

He had a poor angle, ducked his head and did not wrap up.It was a perfect example of how not to play a deep safety since the game depended on him to make the tackle.

I seriously believe it was the ghost of Prince that made him miss the tackle.
