I made it home from Vegas just in time. The first flakes started falling in Arlington at about 12:45, just after I got home and got some groceries.
Since then, we've had steady snow but not really any blizzard conditions. Here is what it looked like after five hours...just before sunset.
Blizzard conditions are supposed to start in the next hour or two. We'll see.
I plan to keep posting pics throughout the day tomorrow to see how bad it gets.

EDITED @ 7:30 FRIDAY
Still snowing but no blizzard conditions...yet.

EDITED @ 8:45 SATURDAY MORNING
So we got quite a bit of snow overnight. It's still coming down and it's pretty windy. I'm about to head out into this to walk the dog.

EDITED @ 2:45 pm Saturday
The heavy stuff is supposed to switch to a light snow this afternoon, but this is the heaviest I've seen yet.

EDITED @ 4:45 pm SATURDAY
The wife and I took our dog for a walk. We tried to go to the same spot where we took a picture last night.
The roads are still covered and look at what they've already cleared.
So how do you get rid of a mountain of snow? Load it into dump trucks of course!
