It makes it a hell of a lot better than 6-6 Michigan. Here is what I’ll say. I still think the schedule was not hard in terms of what part of the conference you played. However, you took care of business for what you were dealt. You could have slipped up like every other SEC team. You could have lost to Vandy in a close game, but you didn’t. You struggled a bit with Arkansas, but you found a way to win. You did what you were supposed to do, and I wish we could have. Auburn was a pathetic loss. South Carolina turned out to not be so bad and might end up in the playoff, but we didn’t capitalize on a favorable schedule as well. You did.
You did capitalize on your favorable schedule. You were no where near a top SEC team and had no business being in the hunt for the conference championship in the last week. A&M was not a good team this year and should have been sitting 5th or 6th in the SEC instead of tied for first. Your schedule is the only reason you were that high.
