UT holds the longest winning streak in this series at 8 games which has happened twice. OU would have to literally more than double the longest winning streak in the series history to even tie it up.

no they wont lose money off the deal if espn is guaranteeing it. Doesnt mean the network itself is making money. I just wish the big 12 could have a network, rake in some more cash. for a money making machine like the university of texas, i cant wrap my mind around why they think that 15 mil is so important. Well I never made the claim that it has lost anything as far as texas goes. It can be a colossal failure and still not cost texas money, because espn guarantees them some cash each year regardless. They were just hoping your brand was strong enough to make it worth their while. Much to their chagrin, that was absolutely not the case to this point, losing 48 million. I am not sure if that includes the cash paid to texas, because if not, wow that number would be astronomical. At any rate, if i could quantify in anyway what texas has lost in this endeavor would be maybe some face. You know how they say you want to save face, well maybe texas lost some face here , because you can make money and still fail in something at which you attempted very hard to succeed. I think money was just a part of the overall goal to enhance the image of the ut brand; and in this case enhancing the brand would beget more money.
He's already won one in his first year, and next season's team will be even better, I dont see Ou taking a step back, so in spite of your fantasy, I really like his chances.

More than everyone on the team combined. They've done nothing worthy of note, and he's already been a heisman candidate, an All American, and a conference champion. Which is a hell of a lot more than we can say about a single person on your team.
Well you know, contrasting what he has done in just one season to everything your team did...lol, well in comparison to what your team has accomplished over the past few years, that certainly is separating himself into greatness. You guys and your little picture, get your mind right and focus on the big picture. You guys are still looking at an 8 win season as a damn fine year, and at this point anything shy of 10 for OU is a colossal disappointment of epic proportions.
