Did Sark go with Ewers down the stretch to help his QB “batting average”?

Is Sark still in the very immature years of his coaching where he cares more about being a QB whisperer than giving the team its best chance to win? We have a generational defense and literally couldn’t move the ball on offense and he’s supposed to be an offensive coach (and he calls the plays). His pride got in the way big time this year.
