Just setting the tone. Think of it like this-
Two heavyweight boxers are going to fight. They do a press conference before the fight and tell each (secretly) to try and start a fight during the presser. They start yelling at each other and then square off-- it makes front page news and runs first on sportscaster.
Hype is created and more people pay $59.99 for the PPV fight.
Profit....
