Jason Kersey, Oklahoma football writer for The Athletic, joined my podcast this week and we once again had a great Texas-Oklahoma discussion. He has quickly become one of my favorite podcast guests.

Here are the highlights:

- Kersey believes Texas still has a chance to appear in the college playoffs with only one loss. He said if Oklahoma loses on Saturday, the Sooners will miss the Big 12 Championship Game and likely drop another game this season.

- Kersey said one of Oklahoma's biggest issues has been a struggling offensive line. In addition, the running backs have not played well, according to Kersey.

- Oklahoma's offense has struggled this season under Spencer Rattler, but Kersey does not blame the quarterback. Instead, he attributes Rattler's challenges to the other problems on offense.

- Overall, Oklahoma fans are unhappy with the lack of discipline they see from players on game day under Lincoln Riley. Kersey said OU fans never witnessed the same lack of discipline under Bob Stoops.

- Kersey gives Texas the advantage this weekend because of Sam Ehlinger. Not only is Ehlinger having a good senior season, but Kersey believes Ehlinger's experience in this game benefits Texas.
