Can't disagree with you. He and his coach👍Rattler ran off because he was a fvcking dueshebag. Nobody liked him. He was a prima Donna.
I'd like to see Malik play, other than mop up duty. But I hope he agrees w your statement and hangs around!🤘Oh kemosabe, you underestimate the level of freakthefvckoutedness that can be observed in this little corner of the interwebs.
And I disagree, I think Murphy could turn out to be the best of the bunch, but he won’t be ready this year. He’s got every bit the talent Ewers has, and then some.
Nil will dictate who plays brother.I'd like to see Malik play, other than mop up duty. But I hope he agrees w your statement and hangs around!🤘
You comparing ewers to favre or elway. Right outta the gate? 😉Let's see how many dropped balls we have early on first.
"Why Clob? Why would there be dropped balls if the WRs can catch?"
Remember John Elway's rookie year?
Or Brett Favre's first year starting with the Packers?
Elway's idea of a "screen pass" was to throw it so hard it stuck in the face mask of the running back.
Favre got so amped up early on he broke a WR's HAND. One WR said Favre would throw SO hard in a game that the point of the ball, where the 4 seems meet- would hit the jersey, twist, and leave an "X" mark in the fabric of your jersey. They starting calling it "the cross".
It is fvcking HARD to catch a ball thrown by a guy who's adrenal juiced. Cat already has a world class arm. Now with that extra adrenaline bump-- look out.
I think some of that is from him being thrown into the fire before he was ready. That Arkansas game ripped any confidence he had right away. Having control comes with having confidence in yourself first.I spoke to a former lineman that blocked for Card. Said he didn't have it "in the huddle". No command. You can't control the huddle, you can't control the game.
People talk about the ISU and the AR games. But what sealed the deal for me was the KS game. It took him less than 3 minutes to put us in a hole we couldn't get out of.I spoke to a former lineman that blocked for Card. Said he didn't have it "in the huddle". No command. You like macdonalds cheeseburgers?People talk about the ISU and the AR games. But what sealed the deal for me was the KS game. It took him less than 3 minutes to put us in a hole we couldn't get out of.
Inexcusable especially at TX.
Did you give up on VY after he got shut out against OU in his second year?People talk about the ISU and the AR games. But what sealed the deal for me was the KS game. It took him less than 3 minutes to put us in a hole we couldn't get out of.

No because he went on the road and beat Arkansas that year, as well as win every other game the rest of his career.Did you give up on VY after he got shut out against OU in his second year?
Nope, the Arkansas game was his sophomore year which would have been his 3rd season since he was a redshirt. I meant second year of playing, and 3rd year overall. On top of that Arkansas was not very good then.No because he went on the road and beat Arkansas that year, as well as win every other game the rest of his career.
By 2nd year I thought you meant 2nd year actually playing... My apologies. Regardless o trust card as much as I trust Ewers. Tied. So I give it to the better upside player.Nope, the Arkansas game was his sophomore year which would have been his 3rd season since he was a redshirt. On top of that Arkansas was not very good then.
Vince struggled quite a bit throwing the ball early in his career. He just had that elite running ability and a very good defense to cover up some of his deficiencies. My point is all young QBs have growing pains.
One person I spoke with in the last hour who has spoken with the Texas coaches this week and was hearing the same thing I reported, believes that the report last night changed the dynamics of the situation. He can't explain with facts how it definitely did change things, but he certainly believes it.
also pretty funny sh*t

so freaking funny..thats the PAID aggie site lmao...holy hellRent. Free.
Ok but VY showed flashes of brilliance early on and went 11-1 his redshirt sophomore year. Card looked like garbage in pretty much every single he’s played so far. There’s basically no comparison at all between the two.Nope, the Arkansas game was his sophomore year which would have been his 3rd season since he was a redshirt. if brennan last all year..dude is SMALLLL... i think Cain and Omere are going to big contributors this year..and i think we will see a tight end FINALLY in a Texas offense. Sanders will be a All big 12 conference player. We are going to run the ball. It will be Ewers arm that opens up the box. Xavier and Brennan will be ripping the top off the defenses.
I think our defense will be improved. It's going be a fun year win or lose.
When have we heard that before? Maybe 1989.You better be because he’s about to kick the Sooners asses for the next 2-3 years lol
VY’s defense only gave up more than 20 points in 3 of his 12 games that year. They would have won 10 games with Chance Mock that year.Ok but VY showed flashes of brilliance early on and went 11-1 his redshirt sophomore year. Card looked like garbage in pretty much every single he’s played so far. There’s basically no comparison at all between the two.
The series is something like 18-14 since 1990. Hasn’t been that lopsided if you look at it that way. When have we heard that before? Maybe 1989.
TEs will make or break us this year. Ewers weak point is the quick drop short passes. Due to him not knowing the playbook by heart just yet, his reads can be off. This is where a 3rd & 6+ can get us in trouble.if brennan last all year..dude is SMALLLL... i think Cain and Omere are going to big contributors this year..and i think we will see a tight end FINALLY in a Texas offense. With these TEs, we can keep the same personnel on the field so the defense can't substitute in an exotic package. Flex them boys to 4 wide in a hurry, dink & dunk 1st downs.
Prayers sent so the injury gods are kind to us this year. We've been cursed long enough.
best since david thomas really, even better than finley.I'm cautiously optimistic about J. Sanders at TE. He has all-world potential.
I was always amazed at the arm Simms had. Saw him live a few times, once in pregame he was warming up very close to my seats and the velocity he had on the ball was pretty impressiveCard didn't show me anything.
He was tentative and didn't have an arm.
This kid has a cannon. A legit cannon. If anything, he's going to suffer from the same problem Chris Sims had-- "My arm is SO special that I can make ANY throw."
And he can. He just has to know when it's too high risk.
Sanders is going to be a special player. His athletic ability is off the charts.I'm cautiously optimistic about J. Sanders at TE. He has all-world potential.
I feel the same towards out entire team to be honest. Strangely enough, I'm most concerned about our kicking game now.I'm cautiously optimistic about J. Sanders at TE. He has all-world potential.
Not really fair to "this year's" Card. He's a year older and a year wiser. That has to account for something.I spoke to a former lineman that blocked for Card. Said he didn't have it "in the huddle". No command. You can't control the huddle, you can't control the game.
I think we saw enough of him last year to know that he’s lacking that “it” factor. Another year probably doesn’t change much. Ewers may or may not have “it” but I’d rather take a chance with him than Card at this point. Not really fair to "this year's" Card. He's a year older and a year wiser.
