Hey everyone .long time no post. Let me start by saying whether you believe in the virus or not, I hope everyone is safe and family and friends are well. This year has been a mental f**k for us all.

I cant seem to get excited about this year's football season. Idk if it's no band, less fans, or maybe no lsu but I'm in the biggest funk I've ever been in my 31 years of life a week away from kickoff.

With that said I'm going to try and get in the football spirit and ask everyone to name me 3 questions and predictions..

1. Biggest expectation this year
2. Biggest suprise this year
3. Biggest let down this year.

My answers are

1. Big 12 championship or bust
2. Ingram is the 3red string running back the week after ou.
3. Malcolm Epps renames himself John burt from his stone hands , no catching self.

Again idc if you're a Longhorn , wildcat, bear, hell even sooner. I hope everyone is well, healthy and ready to enjoy whatever season comes our way.

1. Agree...Big 12 title or bust
2. We have two 1,000yd backs with RJ being the leader - Keaontay does not go quietly into the night, he’s our #2. Bijan shows us flashes of the future
3. Brennan Eagles doesn’t live up to potential (I hope I’m wrong here - the kid can be a beast).

I agree eagles will not fly as high as people.hope. I'm looking at jake smith to be the number 1.

RJ I agree number 1 rb but I think BR will shock people at how ready for college football he already is and take more carries away from Ingram.

I think if Eagles doesn't live up to expectations it is going to be due to another receiver or 2 simply excelling past him. Eagles is damn good, but he isn't a slot receiver, and until proven otherwise, I'm not sure Sam is going to change from his dependency on that slot position. Over the last 2 years Sam has probably completed close to 250 passes to guys playing in the slot, this I think it is going to be Jake Smith that makes the biggest impact in our passing game. I think the big key for Eagles is not just taking advantage when he is getting the pass attempts, but taking them to the house more often. That will get him more passes his way and open up the eyes of the coaches and Sam.

1. I expect a great Offense.
2. I hope the biggest surprise is our Defense, I have no idea what they will look like.
3. I will remain positive and not address a let down.

Lets just beat OU and win a Big 12 Championship. I do not expect us to be in the Final Four championship this year. I am still in battle shock watching the last long 10 years. I can still see a slow KState QB running all over us. I want to see Texas play Texas Football.

The defense will shine this year. I don't know about the offense. The oline is a big question mark. Our biggest playmaker with his arm and legs is Sam Ehlinger. We don't have any big playmakers outside Bijan Robinson who I expect to be starting in the second half of the season. Jake Smith, Whittington, and Robinson will be the ones to emerge. I also expect Black and Schooler to contribute.

I have no idea what to expect this year but I am really preparing myself to be severely disappointed by the restrictions etc. I said a couple of weeks ago I'm expecting more of an exhibition type season than anything else. I was reading that one of the Sooners whole position units was in quarantine and missed practices and a scrimmage yet nobody had any symptoms. To be honest that really pisses me off. Why the hell are teams trying to impose testing etc. if there are no symptoms. To me it's going to be a never ending circle and these athletes aren't getting sick?? What a cluster this is going to be.

I heard that the majority of the SEC is not volunteering their testing reports etc. to ESPN , probably smart

Tennessee canceled a scrimmage yesterday because 44 players either tested positive for the coronavirus or associated with someone who had the virus.

I'm glad there is a fb season even of it has been shortened. Watching a Big XII championship season something positive to rally around during these uncertain times our family to rally around even though were in different states.

As far as our team is concerned we do have the potential to have a great offense it depends on our ol. The key is our new coaching staff if they can develop our players we can have great team cause the talent.
