Fowler

His non-flagged exam and the summer school classes are what has been submitted. His flagged test score would have had him in far sooner. From what I know, he is good to go if/when clearinghouse clears him.

I didn't realize he had previously had a flagged score. I would assume that if he did and the latest wasn't then that is really good news for you guys and the kid.

UT has confirmed it to HD.
After completing some needed course work, 4-star OLB Erick Fowler has been academically certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse for enrollment at Texas, UT officials confirmed to HornsDigest.com.
Fowler, a Manor product who decommitted from LSU and signed with Texas on National Signing Day, had been giving indications on social media he would be joining the Longhorns soon.
On Monday, Fowler's dad tweeted that Erick had been cleared.

Why are you here Aggie?

Tired of your commits decommitting so you have to come here and root against one of our players getting in????

smh I don't understand this territorial mentality. The guy contributes to the conversation and is rooting for the play to beat the system... so you decide to try and oust him? Every thread on this board devolves into butthurt so quickly because of this. Let's just try to keep things chill around here!

Sorry if this causes a bigger derail... but anyway it seems like Fowler is in, so the question has been answered!

Pat is fixing to enjoy his time with this young buck! Conditioning is a bitch when you're behind.

I know he's behind, but I still don't see him redshirting. It may be midseason before he ever makes an impact though. He could play early on special teams I suppose.

Seems you also dont understand pooch and his history here..... which if you did you wouldnt have posted your opinion....... simple enough mistake..... It may surprise you to learn that visiting posters get treated the way they do based off of how they act.... everyone gets a pass to start, but once you wear your welcome thin, it is open season.

My first reaction is that what you describe would be a wasted season, but CS's seat is getting warm. Any added wins now could be a big boost in 2017, 2018 recruiting, and in solidifying the faith of the team, not to mention the trust of the donors & fanbase.

Most of football is about faith and love. If you don't believe you can win, you won't. If you don't love your teammates, you won't sacrifice yourself as much as if you just hate losing. If you don't trust your coaches, you won't listen to them. If you don't trust your teammates, you'll be out of position, etc. Faith and love, plus dogged determination, is what sees you through the fourth quarter.

Even after all these years, I still remember.
