I'll have a full report in my 3-2-1 on Tuesday morning but I talked to Hudson Card's father, Doug, today about the family's official visit.
According to Doug (and his wife Cindy) the visit went really well and they really enjoyed all phases - the time with the coaches and their families, getting to know them on a level deeper than just football; the time with the players and other recruits; getting more acquainted with the McCombs School of Business since that's what Hudson wants to study - it all clicked.
Again, I'll have quotes in my column this week. Really enjoyed the conversation and the thing you all care about most ... Hudson is completely locked in with his Texas commitment. Hudson, Doug and Cindy have all become pretty active recruiters for Texas and it's easy to see why others are drawn to them after talking to Doug today.
