Some thoughts at halftime of the Texas/OU game:

  • That fumble recovery by Bolden should go down as one of the great plays in the history of this rivalry. Incredibly hard play to make - 7 times out of 10, that ball just squirts out the back of the endzone.
  • We need to see more Wisner, less Blue from here on out. Tre is by far our most effective RB in this offense, and it isn't close.
  • Wingo is a monster in the making.
  • Sure hate to see Bond limp off to the locker room. It only emphasizes how blessed we are with such an amazing array of talent in our WR room, though.
  • Golden's long ball looks as terrible as Quinn's have so far. :)
  • I expected Quinn to show some rust, but dang, that first quarter was worrisome.
  • Ant Hill is the man.
  • The Texas defense deserves a hell of a lot more respect than it has been getting so far from the national sports media. Maybe today will wake people up.
  • Herbie said it best when he said "it's hard to imagine OU scoring if they have to sustain a drive." Exactly.
  • That Holding call on Helm at the end of he half was an atrocity. SEC officiating continues to be every bit the travesty of a dumpster fire that Big 12 officiating is.
  • Bert Auburn is not inspiring much confidence this season. Sure hope we don't need a 45-yard FG to beat Georgia next week.
All in all, a satisfying first half. Sure would be nice to hang half a hundred on these assholes, though.

Hook 'em!!!
