Westgate released their Natty odds for next year and Texas is 20/1. I love those odds. What do you guys have coming back next year? Your defense looked terrifying vs uga. Looked over the schedule too; obviously LSU will be a tough game but it's in Austin at least. The rest of your schedule is cake outside of OU. I think Texas will be favored in every game. Maybe +3 vs LSU? Edit: Bovada has Texas at 25/1

Defense was a heavy senior group, we lose all but 3 starters. Biggest loss is Gary Johnson. Dline will be okay, especially in Big 12 play. losing both starting corners, but many here believe that is addition by subtraction in the case of Boyd. Texas has some very young but talented corners in the fold. I'm most worried about linebacker especially early with LSU the second game of the year. Best players we have coming back are Caden Sterns, Malcolm Roach, BJ Foster, Jeffrey McCullough, Taquon Graham, Gerald Wilbon, and Kobe Boyce. Brandon Jones is another key guy who is currently weighing his options if he will declare for the draft or not.

Was the B12 cake for Nebraska?

Are ya'll planning on getting your pheasant population back up to snuff? I usually fly up to Omaha and drive over to Columbus or Norfolk (pronounced Nor Fork by the locals) to get my pheasant on, but the last few years have been underwhelming. I know the state has a pheasant hatchery that they use to restock the population but, it ain't working. This next year I may be headed to South Dakota because, well, ya'll just ain't getting it done.

Be cheaper to buy one already stuffed at Mr, Moody's than go thru all that hunting shit, I go hunting Quail every other weekend and sometimes Dove Hunting, The ones I shoot are already marinated, its a new Strain of Quail and Doves and I never sit out in the cold, no dogs to flush birds, no rifle and ammo and home in 10 mins, I always wear my Camos when I go..nothing to it clob, you need to hunt the smart way, go buy the local beer joint and tell the guys you just got back from hunting, no one's the wiser..simple " Bawanna"! Jambo!

Different kind of hunting but have you ever hunted Joshua Creek Ranch outside Boerne/Welfare? Only reason I ask is I was a hunting guide out there from 94’-97’. I had 3 pointers and a English Setter that I ran out there and used a few of their ranch dogs . They had about 50 dogs in their kennel back then plus they hired 5 or 6 outside guides. Joe Kerchiville the owner has that investment firm up there at the corner of 1604 and I-10. He’s kind of an asshole but the gig paid good back then, walked about 5 miles a day. A lot of fun and some funny stories to tell from my days out there.

I've heard of it but never been there. I'm not really into canned hunts. Don't get me wrong, I've had to do them in the past for work related things, but having to literally kick a pheasant up out of a bush in order to shoot it gets embarrassing after the third time.

Not sure how it is now but when I was there Joe was getting his birds out of a guy from So. Texas. We hunted quail, chukkar, Hungarian partridge and pheasant. The guy he got his birds from would run cocker spaniels in those cages to get those birds flighty. They flushed pretty damn good by the time they were delivered to us. Speaking of cocker spaniels, until I worked out there I’d never seen a cocker spaniel do anything but lay around and be worthless. Usually, we’d hunt pheasants in the field with the other game birds but the ranch had about 5 or 6 of those cocker spaniels and we’d do a pheasant hunt every now and then in a tall maze field using blockers on one end and those damn cocker spaniels criss crossing in front of the hunters about a million miles an hour. Those dogs could work. If you ever get a chance to go out there you’d probably enjoy it, it’s a top notch place. Not sure of the prices now but back then just a basic 3 or 4 hour hunt was $400.

I think it is more like replacing 6 as 2 of the young pups started against UGA. The 2018 team replaced 5 defensive starters.

I used to hunt quail at a guy's place near Altair. Rose bushes neck deep, no dogs. Only way to flush the quail was to step on them. Would wake you up in a hurry....

We hunted quail, chukkar, Hungarian partridge and pheasant.

You ever want a workout...try hunting Chukkar here in Nevada in January......The first time you hunt them for fun....every time you hunt them afterwards is for revenge.....
