What impressed me most from Saturday was Hills improved tackling Did that stand out to anyone else? Seemed like the dreaded 15 yard cushion was tightened up and after the completion he was right there, locked up, and took his guy to the turf. Encouraging, in my mind.

I noticed this as well. After one tackle I did a double take to get the right player. It was number 5. He did a great job on one play of getting around a blocker and making a 1 on 1 tackle.

Tightening of coverage and actually challenging receivers are two of the biggest differences I have seen the last couple of weeks. However, I am still at a loss for why that wasn't done against a rag-armed, running KSU QB.

I was overall impressed with our DB's ability to tackle in space this week. TT usually kills people with a 3 yard pass going for 40. That didn't happen this week. Maybe the DB's finally looked in the mirror and said we are better than this.

Hill and Boyd are growing up!


We need top end safety help instead of guys like Haines, I'm glad he is graduating.
