Texting with an A&M coworker today he said:
"I’ll take Elko’s year 1 at 8-5 over Sark’s year 1 at 5-7."
I tried to explain to him (my first mistake) that the roster Sark inherited was far inferior to the roster Elmo inherited, or how the coordinators at Texas had a far better pedigree, or how there was a sense of momentum in the program, or how we landed a top 5 class after year one.
But then I wondered if winning gave me amnesia...
