Love me some Mack Brown. He's just being honest. IMO I don't think Texas gets one of the four playoff spots either.
I have no problem with where he has Texas. However, f*** Mack Brown. I still wanna puke every time I hear his voice. If you don't like it, too bad. That's how I feel, and you are not gonna change my mind.
No clue why so many Texas fans dislike Mack. His 10 year run was the best since DKR, I'm not sure anyone at Texas has had a decade like Mack had. He may have stayed a year too long, but he was great. I hated the guy, which means you guys should love him.
we owe mack brown more than we could ever repay him. He brought our school out of 35 years of mediocrity and made us a national player again. you can piss off with that fvck Mack nonsense. It was time for him to go but dont forget what he did for us as an institution.
He was also responsible for what, 4 or 5 of the most embarrassing losses to OU ever. I lose track of how many times OU absolutely slaughtered us under him.
The ultimate "play not to lose" coach. He tried, and came within a fingertip, to lose us the Michigan Rose Bowl. With the Michigan defense gassed, they didn't stand a chance in hell of stopping Vince. instesd of riding Vince, we play for the field goal. A long field goal at that. A Michigan player actually got a finger on it.
I thank god USC had a 5 point lead on us in the end. If it was three, even with a struggling kicker, I guarantee clappy plays for a 40 yard field goal, and we most likely lose.
Yeah he won 1 NC. Had we shit canned his sorry ass when we could've gotten Spurrier, we have multiple NCs. And I don't wanna hear any shit about South Carolina. Spurrier was a great coach, but he's not Jesus.
What clappy did to Texas in the end is absolutely unforgivable. We are to this f*cking day still trying to dig out of the grave he buried the program in. One NC does not make up for the murder of a storied program. Sorry, it just doesn't.

I just watched the video and what he said seems pretty dead on to me. Nobody but nobody, expected to see Texas in the top 10 at any point this year.
A win is a win but we haven't been consistent at anything. IF we manage to win out (unlikely) & shellac a 1 loss top 10 OU in the conf championship game (highly unlikely) we damn sure should be considered.

SMDH, Metcalf. Mack Brown was great for Texas. I don't understand how you and others can say the things that you do about him. Not only was he a great coach, but a class act and a great man. Only DKR was better at Texas.
And for the umpteenth time, FB, I've asked you to stop with posts like this. What does it take to get through your thick skull?
