Ward had a good game, but their 3rd down efficiency was horrid and their run game was down right pedestrian. That being said, if the Cane’s defense had any semblance of a pulse they’d have won handily.
It’s not a lie to say it’s your only quality win. Our worst loss just beat handily your best win. 6-4 Vandy who will end up 6-6 with games against Tennessee and LSU. If you don’t beat A&M you will be 0-2 against ranked teams and no quality wins.

Agree you can’t do anything with the schedule. I’d be thrilled as hell if I were you at where you are. Texas has a good team, and I’ve said that all year. It’s only a conversation of after all football is played and if Texas has no quality wins then you could see why people would be skeptical. When the committee looks at seeding and sees Texas with no wins vs quality opponents then would other teams jump them? Just a realistic question. Look..it’s why we look forward to the game in a couple of weeks..trash talking g and making fun of the other team. Stop acting like aggie has a harder schedule. No Bama or Georgia, the only team in the SEC who doesn’t have to play either this season, and your only tough games are all at home.
BBA has been around a long time now and usually pretty decent. I think he’s ok. With that said, his takes lately, at least pertaining to football, have been aggy-esq. I’m thinking he’s still butt hurt from us taking his baseball coach.
I am proud of the Longhorns. I did not watch the game (as I was at my daughter’s soccer tournament). Unbelievable that Georgia and Miami lost.
Stated several times that A&M doesn’t have a hard schedule by SEC standards. I’m just asking in the end when things are getting sorted out and games are finished. If you don’t beat A&M, is there a win on your schedule to hang YOUR hat on? That’s not an unfair question. If either of us had OUs scheduke would the results be the same??
Aggies have no room to talk about soft schedules. They dodged Bama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee this year. Their best win was LSU and they just got the shit beat out of them by 4 scores at home lol. The only other 2 good teams they played (South Carolina and ND) beat them pretty handily. So spare me with all this talk about who has quality wins.
And what they're not noticing is that they've played great season. Elko appears to be changing the culture that's good because it was a hot mess. They won 7 games last year I thought if they won 8 it would be a good start for Elko.
They're 7/2 and their next 2 games are New Mexico State and Auburn and that will give them 9. Elko could be the man before it's all through.
