**OFFICIAL Texas vs Borderline Erotic thread of Vengaza del Cochino**

In fairness, before you get too high, there are 16 teams in the conference. Your have beaten the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 16th placed teams while playing the 15th best this weekend. You lost to the number 3. If you played the top half like OU you might think a little differently. Yes, ours has been similar with playing 7.8 and 9 as our highest wins, but the look at us in the SEC might take a breath until beating the top half.

It's Sarks offense. Teams are deploying 3 high safeties and taking away the long threat. They are forcing QE to dink and dunk the ball down the field. Texas could use a big power back and a quarterback who can run.
Oh look- someone in agreement with Clob.
.I've said for years we needed a thumper at RB....

You realize aggy is in a no win situation on Nov 30-- right?
It's at home.
It's likely to be a night game.
You're installing loud speakers to amplify the crowd noise.
You've been in the SEC for over a decade whilst this is our first year.
The entire SEC will be looking to you to stop your rival from making it to the SEC championship in year 1.
If you win- you're supposed to. If you lose, it sets your program back years, makes the rest of the SEC look down on you even more than they already do, and calls into question the millions of NIL money that's been wasted on your program.
Not to mention what it will do to your fan base.
Win and they'll whistle past the graveyard.
Lose, and I see nothing short of a mass suicide event at Kyle Field.
If they lose, or better, when we win I am envisioning the scene at Kyle will look like the house that implodes and vaporizes at the end of Poltergeist.

The earth just opens up and swallows it whole. It would be the ghosts of all those dead dogs at the north end zone that did it.

Unfortunately, our RBs outside of Blue are above average/good, but not elite. Blue hasn’t done a great job of holding on to the ball

I know our running game has been lacking at times, but we literally ran the ball and burned the final 6 minutes of clock against Arkansas. That was also with Arkansas having all 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning.

That game clinching td drive against Arkansas was almost an all running play drive. I thought where has this running game been this season?

Our 5 turds can't block a 3 man front. And forget about climbing to the second level FFS.
I don't think a lot of these sacks have been on the offensive line. Here's a good example of one that I would not put on the line, i'd put it on Quinn. Quinn has to get rid of the ball.

Aggys are installing loud speakers to amplify crowd noise? I thought that's why they do their midnight pep rally for. Silly aggys.

I was referencing run blocking. But your assessment is also accurate
I agree with you there then, because the run blocking does need to be better. It's really weird because we will struggle to run the ball in the first half, but then when the 2nd half rolls around we start pushing guys off the ball and have a lot of success. It was that way in the Arkansas game. Especially on that last drive. We got the ball back with 7 minutes left on the clock and never gave it back up.

From what i've seen, they struggle more with the zone blocking stuff, especially the outside zone. I don't know what the count is but that's where a lot of our holds have come from. The gap scheme stuff seems to be their strengths.
