T shirt fan indeed. For your information I was going to UT when St Darrell went 6-4 3 years in a row. Nobody thought of canning him, and good thing. He started the next year 0-1-1....changed QB's and won 30 in a row, including 2 National Championships.

How in the world you could relate Bill Snyder and Charles Strong is beyond me, and after all....you only think I am a t-shirt fan. If you wish to continue on this board, I suggest you try a little harder to get along with the other posters. You dont have to agree with them, but you do have to get along.

Charlie Strong is not good enough to be in the same breath as Bill Snyder. The people acting like Strong got a raw deal are kind of getting on my nerves. Last night at a New Years party a friend told me "Texas needed to stay out of his way"...I just said HOW WAS TEXAS IN HIS WAY?? He got beat by teams regularly for 3 years and looked inept while doing it. Many of the teams who beat Texas did not have or had the same talent as Texas. C O A C H I N G.
