Have been a longtime Whataburger fan using occasionally as a go-to drive through when needed for a quick ok meal when necessary.
Went to get a justaburger meal for one of my kids this morning. Saw on the drive through window what I bookmarked as $4 grab a bag meal. Is now $6. The kid ate and finished it. Threw half of it away. Said it tasted like something day old.
What happened to this venerable Texas institution? A reliable Lone Star grub that earned whatburger patriotism from me and and most others, especially farmhands, fieldworkers, cattlemen, and cowboys and kids. Is it offering lower quality at inflated prices?
Did the Chicago ESG boys take over and mismanage it and illinois it?
