Founded by proud UT graduates (Garner, B.S. Geology and Chris BBA and MBA from McCombs), Mercury Exteriors is dedicated to helping Texans improve their homes. Whether it is repairing damage caused by bad weather or upgrading the exterior of a home, Mercury is trusted by Longhorn fans across the state (disclaimer: we will also help Aggies, Red Raiders and Horned Frogs, as long as they behave themselves).

Cliffs Notes: The Longhorns picked up a commitment from Port Neches-Groves offensive lineman Jackson Christian.

Rankings: Here's the industry breakdown...
LSRL (5.7) High 3 star, No.66 in Texas
Rivals: (5.7) High 3 star, NR nationally, No.95 in Texas
ESPN: NR
On3: (89) High 3 star, NR nationally, No.71 in Texas
247: (88) High 3 star, NR nationally, No.69 in Texas

Notable offers: Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Air Force, Colorado State, Houston, North Texas, Purdue, SMU and UTSA

Evaluation: Christian isn't a prospect that you watch five plays of and stop watching because his absolute best stuff is eye-popping level of good. Instead, he's a guy that you really find yourself liking more and more, the more you watch him. Listed at 6-5, 310 pounds, he projects as an inside player that has a still developing frame and whose best football should still be in front of him. He's very effective in the running game and shows a natural taste for getting on bodies in space and at the second level of the defense. Looks like a potential mauler once his body fully develops. His athleticism is far from elite, but he's a very functional athlete. Needs to continue to work on making sure he has proper pad level because at times he'll play a little too high and that will get exposed at the next level.

Why it matters: There won't be many interior offensive linemen taken in this class if the Longhorns are able to strike at tackle like they hope to, which means that he'll likely take up the 1 or 2 spots that have been reserved for interior players.

Expectations: With the offensive line developmental program in full swing, it's possible that Christian will need 2-3 years of grooming before he's ready/needed in the middle of the Texas offensive line, but there's not a lot of proven depth once you get beyond the juniors and seniors in the program. It's not impossible to think that he could compete for significant playing time as a redshirt freshman in 2026.

Must See Junior Film: Enjoy.
