He should never have laid his hands on her, other than to restrain her from hitting him. Or just walk away once it started (although in all honesty there are few of us on this board that could just walk away from someone hitting you, male or female). Said so from the git go.
Diadevic, where are you getting your info that the video can't be found? Did they state that on the radio, or do you have a different source?

Agreed. Stoops should've never recruited and played DGB, Chaisson, Shannon or Mixon. But he did. And $ooner fans should've never put up with such unethical...lulz
That's correct. DGB's only college stats were from Mizzou from '12-'13. Until he threw that girl down the stairs and was thrown off the team and Stoops welcomed the wifebeater with open arms for no benefit. I believe Screwdriver Chaisson left before he saw the field as well. Doesn't excuse recruiting these cowards and having them on the team though.

Curious to see how the public/school reacts to the video. Will it be another Ray Rice episode? I got into a huge argument with a Ravens fan over that video and believe it or not it was a woman! Sticking up for women beaters is cowardly.

Yeah it was an ex-coworkers friend. She's a die hard Ravens fan and obliviously at all cost. Not much to the story just that her argument was that Ray Rice's girlfriend at the time spit on him and pushed him first. It was a no win situation and I gave up on the argument but ended it with I hope that you or your daughter never have to go through abuse like that. Neither one of us were drinking either!
Also from her point of view I take it that she's probably a woman that blames herself if a man hits her. I don't know her that personally but by how she was so passionate about her point that's how I feel. Sad!
I know somebody close to this. The DA has the video but it is being sent back to the judge that originally ruled on this. They are going to drag this out big time.

I thought it was the DA that charged Mixon and the DA that showed the tape to the media and the police arrested him. Yep sounds like a cover up.

Whats worse is the OU fans that condone what they do. And were excited to get DGB (even though it was likely he'd never play). And lived here to tell us the only reason we thought it was reprehensible is because we were scared.
Now those same ones will act like, "well we never let the guy play". No, you only paid his tuition to sit next to your daughters in class and to eat the meals on campus for free and to take snaps from other kids on the practice squad.

Yes, the DA who charged that POS Mixon with a freaking misdemeanor for breaking 6 bones in that girl's face. And he showed the tape to a very limited audience and not publicly. Not only did the DA cover the tape up, he let the scumbag off with a slap on the wrist. Dishonest as usual, fizzle.

I only remember fizz and maybe one other complaining about Joe Mixon, the rest were ok with it and some were even blaming the girl again or bringing up her lifestyle. And all of them were for DGB getting a "second" chance after he burned thu like 5 with Mizzou and no one else wanted to touch him. Revisionist history denied fizzy.
