Just caught up with DB Joshua Eaton for a quick update (he's on his way home from his UT visit, didn't want to keep him long while he was in the car).
The Aldine MacArthur product said it was a good visit today and he spent time talking to Tom Herman, Jason Washington and Craig Naivar. Interestingly, he was planning to announce a decision next week (August 6) but Eaton told me tonight he's going to pus that back a bit.
As for Texas, he said the Longhorns are definitely still in play. He was told Texas is going to take a couple more DBs, and he has a spot. With a couple in-state DBs potentially coming off the board in the next week or two, there are some moving parts in this one, but it's definitely a situation worth monitoring moving forward.
