My initial thought was one thing (almost defensive), but I've got to say that twitter has a point. Layers upon layers, I'm starting to see some differences in how the police treat suspects, aren't you? Just maybe, if this suspect was brown or black, the description would have been a lot different (all other facts notwithstanding) than "a very challenged young man", perhaps "filled with hate" or something along those lines.
And just an FYI, I'm Libertarian.
