We need to financially hurt ESPN.
You can't because they have major money in longhorn network.
We need to financially hurt ESPN.
Sure you can, it's guaranteed money. I am speaking of hurting ESPN's ratings (don't watch their programming) & financials through less cable/satellite subscriptions. You can't because they have major money in longhorn network.
I would sh*t a brick if this was brought up as a talking point in the Presidential debate tomorrowI warned you-- all of you-- that this would happen. The largest media outlet has already called Texas racist by proxy. Herbstreet is the figurehead for espn with regard to college football and he tried to de-pants us today by shaming us for firing a coach who isn't winning because he's black---- he was "set up to fail in the beginning" according to kirk.
Hey you fvck tard herbstreet- did that scenario you speak of cause us to fvck up a coin toss?
Or stick with an OC that couldn't pee a drop?
Or not go after a juco qb?
I can go on and on.
We need to financially hurt ESPN.
That's PC ESPN.Sooooooooo Austin is a racist cesspool......
Got it kirk.
PC espn attacking the most progressive school this side of stanford......That's PC ESPN.
clob, you know Herbstreet and Des are punk-ass big 10 homers. They brought up what Red McCombs said 3 years ago too but conveniently fogot to acknowledge that at this point he was/is 100% correct. Hook 'Em.
The comments in this thread are the exact reason why Herbie had the ammo to attack.
You're obviously too fvcking stupid to be able to read objectively. Please point to direct posts that are injustly critical of charlie strong and his track record. The comments in this thread are the exact reason why Herbie had the ammo to attack.
First of all, calm down kid. Secondly, are you being serious right now? Did you not read the thread. Embarrassing stuff. You're obviously too fvcking stupid to be able to read objectively. Please point to direct posts that are injustly critical of charlie strong and his track record.
Call me kid again and you'll get handed my address.First of all, calm down kid. Secondly, are you being serious right now? Did you not read the thread. Embarrassing stuff.
No base is ever 100% happy with who they have (except maybe bama/tosu). Just remember our own fan base with Mack. Heck, many from ou aren't happy with stoops and he has a crazy good record. Skip Bayless was on the public airways criticizing stoops and calling for his firing a few years ago. The point on Strong is that it is probably too late. If he goes undefeated the rest of the way, it wouldn't matter because there has been what looks like disorganization throughout the team. Aside from the x's and o's, a HC has to run the program as a CEO which involves his full engagement with his assistants at all levels and game planning and review. His assistants don't seem to be correcting and improving the several shortcomings we have been watching. In addition you have to evaluate the x's and o's part of it. This would be the win/loss record and key indicators (simply stats or objective data). These don't support very many, if any, successes. Unfortunately, recruiting doesn't win games. He has excelled in this crucial part of the program. It is silly to suggest that firing Strong has anything to do with race. If he is fired it will hopefully be for football reasons. Now if rips off 3 or 4 in a row and gets to 8 wins and still gets the ax the case can be made maybe not race, but certainly that he was never wanted here in the first place.
Now it's equally silly to think that there aren't some that are less than thrilled that Strong is the HC at UT, and always has been. I'm not going to call them racist because I think it's less about being black and more about not being one of the good ole boys.
I will say that with a Mike Perrin in the AD chair the big money guys have probably more power than ever. That may not be a good thing given their track recored over the last few years.
Yeah, no. Calm down little guy, no need to reinforce the nation's opinion.Call me kid again and you'll get handed my address.
Rhetorical nonsense that doesn't answer the question because you have no objective facts/statistics to support your argument. Waste of time.First of all, calm down kid. Secondly, are you being serious right now? Did you not read the thread. Embarrassing stuff.
Denial is what has made this program garbage. Congrats for being a part of the problem like the unstable little kiddo above.Rhetorically nonsense that doesn't answer the question because you have no objective facts/statistics to support your argument. Waste of time.
Name calling is the first indication that you have lost the argument & are resorting to emotional conflict. Why? Because that's the world you live in-subjective, all emotion, & NO objective facts.Yeah, no. Calm down little guy, no need to reinforce the nation's opinion.

It's clear you are out of your element here. As if I was the guy threatening someone online because they have a different opinion. Brilliant. You want examples of how this fan base hurts public perception? Look no further.Name calling is the first indication that you have lost the argument & are resorting to emotional conflict. Why? Perception isn't losing football games. Perception didn't create 13-17. Strong did. Perception is subjective & cannot be measured. It's clear you are out of your element here. Still no examples to back up your claim?
Ok. Agree to disagree then.Perception isn't losing football games. Perception didn't create 13-17. Strong did. Perception is subjective & cannot be measured.
Who recruited and developed those players? Has he had time to recruit and develop his team? You are not worth discussing this with - it's clear you lack the cognitive ability to functionally formulate a clear response.Strong had 13 underclass men on his 2-deep defense at Florida when they won the national title. Youth wasn't a problem then, but it is now?
Ah yes, when faced with facts and supporting evidence - the whole "race baiter" response comes out. Perfect You are as stupid as you sound, I believe.Another race baiter. This has nothing to do with race. I feel sorry for people like you. Strong is 13-17. Mack was fired for 30-21. Plain & simple.

Strong recruited and developed the current freshmen and sophomores at Texas. Are you suggesting Strong didn't recruit and develop the players at Florida?Who recruited and developed those players?
