Kirk Herbstreet can eat a ....

Mack's record in his final 4 seasons was 30-21. There is no way Charlie could obtain that record by the end of his 4th season at Texas.

I warned you-- all of you-- that this would happen. The largest media outlet has already called Texas racist by proxy. Herbstreet is the figurehead for espn with regard to college football and he tried to de-pants us today by shaming us for firing a coach who isn't winning because he's black---- he was "set up to fail in the beginning" according to kirk.

Hey you fvck tard herbstreet- did that scenario you speak of cause us to fvck up a coin toss?
Or stick with an OC that couldn't pee a drop?
Or not go after a juco qb?
I can go on and on.
I would sh*t a brick if this was brought up as a talking point in the Presidential debate tomorrow=)rollI sure as hell wouldn't rule it out, seems anything goes. Coaches Lives Matter

This is what most outsiders that don't follow the program with the microscope that we do-- do not understand.

It's not "just" the losses. It's not "just" stupid coin toss errors. It's the records charlie is setting in his tenure. Worst loss ever to this team. Most points ever given up to that team. 2 new records were set today that Charlie is 100% directly responsible for:
Most yards passing EVER by an OU qb.
Most receiving yards EVER by an OU player.
We've been playing that game in Dallas for over a century and TODAY two new records were set by OU offensive players- on charlie's D- with charlie calling the plays.

And if I might play tangential football for a moment- this OU team got blasted by houston- who got beat today by NAVY- who lost to Air Force- who lost to Wyoming- Who Lost To EASTERN Michigan- who lost today to Toledo----- so we basically would lose to Toledo in tangent football world.

Allow that to soak in for a moment....

It is silly to suggest that firing Strong has anything to do with race. If he is fired it will hopefully be for football reasons. Now if rips off 3 or 4 in a row and gets to 8 wins and still gets the ax the case can be made maybe not race, but certainly that he was never wanted here in the first place.

Now it's equally silly to think that there aren't some that are less than thrilled that Strong is the HC at UT, and always has been. I'm not going to call them racist because I think it's less about being black and more about not being one of the good ole boys.

I will say that with a Mike Perrin in the AD chair the big money guys have probably more power than ever. That may not be a good thing given their track recored over the last few years.

clob, you know Herbstreet and Des are punk-ass big 10 homers. They brought up what Red McCombs said 3 years ago too but conveniently fogot to acknowledge that at this point he was/is 100% correct. Hook 'Em.

For what its worth Herbstreet really displayed his knowledge of Football when he picked TCU to go to the playoff.

2 losing season (working on a 3rd)
overall Texas Record 13-17.
Texas fans do not take to losing for very long

Sports is a performance oriented Business...

I am not sure his performance is worth keeping around...

The comments in this thread are the exact reason why Herbie had the ammo to attack.
You're obviously too fvcking stupid to be able to read objectively. Please point to direct posts that are injustly critical of charlie strong and his track record.

First of all, calm down kid. Secondly, are you being serious right now? Did you not read the thread. Embarrassing stuff.

No base is ever 100% happy with who they have (except maybe bama/tosu). Just remember our own fan base with Mack. Heck, many from ou aren't happy with stoops and he has a crazy good record. Skip Bayless was on the public airways criticizing stoops and calling for his firing a few years ago. The point on Strong is that it is probably too late. If he goes undefeated the rest of the way, it wouldn't matter because there has been what looks like disorganization throughout the team. Aside from the x's and o's, a HC has to run the program as a CEO which involves his full engagement with his assistants at all levels and game planning and review. His assistants don't seem to be correcting and improving the several shortcomings we have been watching. In addition you have to evaluate the x's and o's part of it. This would be the win/loss record and key indicators (simply stats or objective data). These don't support very many, if any, successes. Unfortunately, recruiting doesn't win games. He has excelled in this crucial part of the program.

Rhetorical nonsense that doesn't answer the question because you have no objective facts/statistics to support your argument. Waste of time.

Denial is what has made this program garbage. Congrats for being a part of the problem like the unstable little kiddo above.

Yeah, no. Calm down little guy, no need to reinforce the nation's opinion.
Name calling is the first indication that you have lost the argument & are resorting to emotional conflict. Why? Because that's the world you live in-subjective, all emotion, & NO objective facts.

It's clear you are out of your element here. As if I was the guy threatening someone online because they have a different opinion. Brilliant. You want examples of how this fan base hurts public perception? Look no further.

Perception isn't losing football games. Perception didn't create 13-17. Strong did. Perception is subjective & cannot be measured.

Still no examples to back up your claim?

I can keep going...

I won't even talk about some of the things I have heard during tailgates and on online message boards.

Strong had 13 underclass men on his 2-deep defense at Florida when they won the national title. Youth wasn't a problem then, but it is now?

Another race baiter. This has nothing to do with race. I feel sorry for people like you. Strong is 13-17. Mack was fired for 30-21. Plain & simple.

Who recruited and developed those players? Has he had time to recruit and develop his team? You are not worth discussing this with - it's clear you lack the cognitive ability to functionally formulate a clear response.

Ah yes, when faced with facts and supporting evidence - the whole "race baiter" response comes out. Perfect You are as stupid as you sound, I believe.

Strong recruited and developed the current freshmen and sophomores at Texas. Are you suggesting Strong didn't recruit and develop the players at Florida?
