Gonna be fun watching Sims next year. That was a bad ass dunk!
Great job by this team. The players and coaching staff haven’t gotten enough credit for the season. In basketball most teams are built for 8-9 guys to play 80-90 % of the minutes in a season. Texas best scorer missed basically the entire season. 3 of the other top 6 coming in to the year have missed games, and after all that Texas is going to make the tournament, and have been in virtually every game minus the game in Morgantown. Not a lot of teams could pull Let’s see if they can cap it off with a nice run in the tournament. They are certainly talented enough to do it. I can tell you this a 3 seed doesn’t wanna see Texas in their bracket in the Saturday/ Sunday game.
Dylan O had his shot working today to... that’s the guy I expected to see all year. If he’s found his grove Texas could be very dangerous next week and in the big tournament.
Texas will play Iowa State Wednesday in Kansas City. Will play Tech Thursday with a W. Those are good matchups for Texas. Be interesting to see if Shaka plays Bamba or if he gives him the entire week off.
I heard only the top 10 teams will make the Big XII tournament.

This Texas team has no fundamentals. And they have no grasp of the intellectual side of the game as well. I can't stand to watch these guys. It's like fingernails on a black board.

I get it! The only time I was excited this year was when Texas was up like 16 points on Duke. It’s been downhill since then.
OK, I've caught my breath. Glad we could put that one away, even if it was so much more dramatic, difficult, and infuriating than it should have been.
We should be in the tournament now even with a loss tomorrow, unless some apocalypse-level sh*t happens in the other conference tourneys. Today's NCSU, ASU, and Syracuse (and possibly OU) losses were very helpful.

It kills me that we can't just whip people. Good win, likely secured us a 12-13 bid. I give our chances against tech at 5-1. Who's taking bets?
Good win. Basically playing a road game. Iowa state travels kc well and Iowa state usually plays well here. How the presure is off. Go play hard and make noise. If I’m Shaka though no reason to play Bamba. You get to Saturday and maybe you think about it.
I’d take 5-1. Beat them once lost on a double OT buzzer beater in Lubbock. A win wouldn’t shock me. Either way good chance it’s the best game of the tournament.
Well we're basically down to 7 players with Bamba, Davis and Jones out. Biased announcers were talking about how Iowa St was shorthanded.
Yeah. Like I said after the WVU game. I know this season hasn’t been what we all wanted or even expected but when you take in to account what they have been through and all the injuries and missed time they’ve done a pretty damn good job or just getting to where they are.
Bubble teams' games are continuing to go our way so far today. Louisville lost to UVA, OSU lost to KU, and Mizzou just lost to UGA.
