How many college WRs could come into the Texas locker room and be an alpha?
After the Wingo news, I used three different AI tools to create a consensus list of Top 10 WRs based on projections for 2025. Then, I asked it to rank their likelihood to portal. Interestingly enough, based on projections, Wingo was on all of the lists, and Moore was just outside of the Top 10. Which means, if we're looking to add alphas with experience to the roster, we're ONLY talking about the 9-12 other players in college football.

- Likelihood to portal: NONE TO LOW
2. Ryan Williams (Alabama)
- Projected Stats: 80 receptions, 1,200 yards, 10 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: LOW
3. Eric Singleton Jr. (Auburn)
- Projected Stats: 80 receptions, 1,200 yards, 12 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: NONE, recently left Georgia Tech to sign
4. Bryant Wesco Jr. (Clemson)
- Projected Stats: 70 receptions, 1,050 yards, 9 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: LOW, but it's a crowded WR room
5. Aaron Anderson (LSU)
- Projected Stats: 70 receptions, 950 yards, 8 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: LOW TO MODERATE, it's a crowded room in LSU, and they don't have the NIL dollars of the top schools
6. Zachariah Branch (Georgia)
- Projected Stats: 70 receptions, 950 yards, 7 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: NONE, recently left USC to sign
7. Antonio Williams (Clemson)
- Projected Stats: 70 receptions, 1,050 yards, 9 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: LOW, but it's a crowded WR room
8. Carnell Tate (Ohio State)
- Projected Stats: 65 receptions, 975 yards, 9 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: LOW TO MODERATE, there are rumors schools are trying to get him to take the leap because of Smith's big shadow.
9. Ryan Wingo (Texas)
- Projected Stats: 65 receptions, 1,000 yards, 9 TDs
10. C.J. Daniels (MIAMI)
- Projected Stats: 68 receptions, 1,000 yards, 9 TDs
- Likelihood to portal: NONE, recently left LSU to sign
Others just outside the Top 10 who could portal: Cam Coleman (Auburn), Mike Matthews (Tennessee)
