look at little brother

Who is little brother?

Aggsy remind me of a little chihuahua barking at you from behind the fence, but when the gate opens they run and hide and cry. Every time I talk to an aggsy about football, they are an annoying Chihuahua that hides behind their SEC fence and always seems to think being bama's bitch makes them better than everyone else.

We oughta buy the school and make it University of Texas at College Station and turn the band into a big FFA chapter...

If y'all haven't read all the responses..... you should. Absolute hilarity.

For reasons I can't explain I think the cow college has a chance against LSU. Isn't the game in College Station? I don't know a first year coach, night game, season finale, he doesn't have a lot of pressure on him going into the game.

Of course they have a chance. Aggy offense is decent and lsu offense is weak.... but lsu defense is pretty solid and aggy d is bad. Especially their secondary. Lsu wins this based on talent. Unless there's a weird happening.

"Aggy" run defense is solid, but Alaka is likely out....LSU has the athletes to get open, and they will. All night. Another year another L.

Nah! They don’t maybe in the first but once LSU makes adjustments it’s over in the 3rd.

Aggy is good enough to beat the mediocre teams or overrated Kentucky team. Clemson was their best game against a good team. They don’t have the talent LSU has. QB Mond will throw at least 3 picks.

Plus it’s November

On paper LSU is Miss. State with better athletes. No offensive identity but they are faster and stronger than you. Wasn't enough for Bama....is plenty to beat most other teams.

A&M is stuck between Sumlin and Fisher right now. The players were in a Sumlin culture for a long time, and show signs of moving forward....but not all at the same time.

What is the Fisher culture? Stolen crab legs? Lunchroom embarrassment?

Is Fisher culture forward? He quickly sunk the FSU empire to incredible depth. He left them in shambles.

The pc released their latest poll tonight and the cow college is back in the top 25. This year's committee has a blind spot for southern schools. To their way of thinking FL was the best two loss team in the country because of who they lost to. Wrong. FL is not a top 15 team period. And the same goes with KY jelly and MSS and now the cow college.WV and a healthy TX team could beat any of them. And as bad as OK's d is I think they could beat the cow college in a shootout.

That article is trash. Most of the posters on this board are more objective than the author of that garbage. Sure, he may be right on the general theme of underperformance, but the way it is presented reeks of butthurt that I wouldn't expect from the Star Telegram.

Last I checked Jimbo's paycheck didn't recruit a single player, especially a stable QB situation. The way it is written he should have been able to bring one along with him or transform unproven players into a performer.

What I have seen, and addressing the "culture" from above posts, is a coach that actually "coaches". Say what you will about his time at FSU (and there is much to discuss if you choose), from what this Aggie has seen, he has spent more time actually involved in the game that is being played on the field than Mr. Sumlin did in his entire tenure.

Kevin chewed his gum and let things happen. When Johnny wasn't around to fix things, his coaching style showed. Mistakes were made by the same players week 1, and week 12. I don't see that as much anymore. I also see a coach who seems like he wants to be there. Never saw that with Kevin. So fire away about his issues...so far I have seen progress in the things that actually matter on the field.

Does anybody really expect Jimbo to be as bad as Sumlin? I doubt it. Will he win a natty? I doubt it but odds are better with Jimbo than Sumlin.

But that's as nice as I'm gonna be to Aggie. Aggies bite weiner! :D

The article is spot-on. a&m is having their typical type of season. They're a 7-5, 8-4 type of program. Rinse and repeat every year. I don't think that Jimbo Fisher is a coach who is going to change that. aggy being who they are. And no, playing in the $EC doesn't make a&m any good. Glad they're gone.
Even the most delusional Aggie wasn't expecting any better than 8-4 maybe 9-3 this season. That's not on Jimbo...that's the team that's on the field. The next two years will tell a lot about Mr. Fisher's impact. But thus far, the fact that he appears interested in the product on the field is a welcome change.

oldschool, I'd like to hear from you why you think that Fisher is going to make a&m a national title contender. I just don't see it.

I know several delusional Aggy that expected more. Now they are staring 7-5 in the face and possibly 7-6 depending on their Bowl matchup. We shall see though.

I'd like to see them come in 2nd place in the West first....I'll worry about being a contender after that.
