Who would've ever thought that Switzer and Sherrill would have the moral highground over Joe Pa?

Few of us have our lives under a microscope like CFB coaches do. I wonder how many of us could stand up to such scrutiny. We've all done things we're less than proud of -- or ought to be ashamed of, even if we aren't.

I'm not saying we'd all do what Art Briles or Joe Paterno did, but just saying that we all face temptations, and we all fall short of perfection. Of God's standard, if you will. And mostly we carry our own secrets with us, without the world learning. But Someone does know.

Paterno led an exemplary life in many ways, but secretly allowed something to go on that he shouldn't have. Few of us would be as generous as Paterno was, nor would we allow Sandusky to do what he did. I can only hope, anyway.
