This kid is amazing and is just 20 years old. Made an incredible buzzer beater a few minutes ago in OT to tie their series with the Clippers 2-2.

Check out this stat line against the NBA's best defense - 43 points, 17 rebounds, 13 assists

He did this on one good ankle and without his team's 2nd best player out of the lineup due to injury.

He wasn't even supposed to play today. He badly twisted his ankle 48 hours ago and many expected him to miss the rest of the series. His performance today was truly remarkable. Almost legendary.

This guy should be the face of the league. Mature way beyond his age and he's actually getting better which is scary.

Regardless of whose watching or not watching, it was an amazing performance. Much respect for the young man. I root for him because he does everything the right way. Most importantly, he's not shooting his mouth off about social justice and is focused squarely on his craft. If the league is going to win fans back they need to highlight this young man. He has broad appeal and his mother is so damn hot!

It was an amazing performance. He does have some Slovenian message on his jersey, but even better - I don’t know what it is. Can’t wait for game 5.

Been a Mavs fan my whole life growing up in the DFW. Had the privilege of watching Dirk’s entire career and thought there would never be another like him. Boy was I wrong. This kid is truly on a different level than any 21 year old I have seen in a long time.

As a Spurs fan, I hate that he plays for the Mavs but I love his game. He's a modern day Larry Bird. He's got the size of a power forward playing point guard in today's NBA. He's completely unathletic and slow. His vertical jump is about 2 inches and he has zero lateral quickness. What he's got that nobody else in the league has is his vision and anticipation. He sees and knows what the opponent is going to do about 90% of the time. This allows him to make the right reads and get his teammates in the right position to make a play. It's almost genius level how he sees the game and reacts with the right decision. He has an "old man's game" that's fun to watch when he outsmarts opponents who are faster and more athletic. His passing is probably his biggest strength. Always perfectly times and put in a spot where the shooter is ready to pull up. His passes are never down at the knees or ankles or above the head. Always right in the chest.

He's such a matchup nightmare due to his size. He's a 6'8" point guard and he's a solid 230 lbs. Most opposing pg's are 6'4" and smaller. He's actually bigger than many power forwards. With that kind of mismatch, he can easily see over the defense and he can also easily take the smaller defender into the post and destroy him.

One more interesting stat, he actually has more triple doubles this season than dunks. Just remarkable.

Yet one of his opponents called him "pathetic white boy" in yesterday's game. Obvious racist smack talk, but will NBA do anything against the angry black man who said that or does only black lives matter and we disregard the rest? Bigger question is who cares? I know that I do not. The professional leagues have all gone off on the socialist mad dive board into an empty pool and I could care less.

He’s a lot more athletic than what you think.
