Just heard this on the radio a couple of hours ago. His w/l record wasn't to bad. But they slumped at the end of the season and then there was the bowl loss to Army. Their President is blunt about their expectations for cougar fb and because of that Major is out of a job.

Oh and btw Mark Richt has retired as hc at the U.

I wish Baylor would go that route. Face it - we are not going to get the 5 stars year in year out. That stinking flexbone or whatever its called now is sooo different, it bamboozles everyone. Army almost took out OU. They stomped UH. Navy won their conference a couple of years ago and took out Notre Dame. Ga.Tech is in a bowl every year. When outmanned, come up with something to level the field, and do it well. I'll bet that out of the 25 fastest guys on that field, 20 were Cougars, and yet Army destroyed them. Well done Army - makes me feel a little better about the future security of the USA!

What's crazy is, it's the nerds off the field that do 99.9% of the security work. The dudes on the field are the ones that clean up the outliers.
