I don't know the reason(s) Malik isn't playing well . . . but he isn't and it makes him a liability right now. I'll focus on him every 4th or 5th play and he just sits there waiting for the play to develop. He needs to be attacking not reading and reacting.

Also, he doesn't have a middle linebacker's mentality that's for sure. He's not Dick Butkis or Ray Lewis or even Mike Singletary and never will be. I agree he should be moved to the outside.

I also don't understand why our guys can't shed blocks?? It's like they're more concerned with blocking 'their guy' than they are with tackling the guy with the ball. I saw a play against K. St. where one K. St. receiver actually blocked the Texas db towards another K. St. receiver who had just caught the ball. All's the UT guy had to do was shed the block and make the easy tackle but he just kept fighting against the blocking receiver and ran right past the other guy with the ball . . . . who then ran for 10 yards.

That's coaching.

Not sure what lb going in the 1st round would bring.. then if playing even decent after 5yrs, thus getting his second contract should be powerful motivation.

Strong should have a check written out to Malik for $50mil -- call Malik into his office showing the check to Malik then proceed to tear it up and throw it in the trash...telling Malik this is what your f***ing off! WAKE UP!!!
