Was just checking yesterday's transaction wire on the NFL media site and saw that the Rams have promoted Brown for Week 17 from their practice squad. Todd Gurley has been in a walking boot this week after limping through a tough game with Seattle last week, and Brown's promotion gives the indication that the team might shut Gurley down. If that's the case, Brown will likely see real-game snaps behind Tre Mason on early downs. In a great RB matchup versus the 49ers, it's basically the best opportunity Brown could have to put a few nice things on tape.
