Well you hate to see any season end without a championship but it was an enjoyable season overall. here are some of my thoughts-

1-The offense didn't reach my expectations but some of it was due to major injuries to Cedric Baxter and some minor injuries to Bond and others. The thing about speed WRs if the have even a minor injury that takes away that speed and cutting ability then they are just small guys who cant run. IMO it was a mistake by the staff to continue to play them when their biggest asset is missing. More Wingo would have been a better choice IMO.
Blue is an absolute weapon, but his ball security made him unreliable for most of the year,IMO he is more effective as a recieving threat than running in heavy traffic.
The OL was far better than what we have had over the previous decade but they got pushed around in the games that counted,Georgia and Ohio St made them look very average. Some of this was caused by not having a true stud at RB,I love Tre Wisner and he is going to to give you everything he has but he cant do it alone and Blue was a liability because of his fumbles.
Gunner Helm exceeded every expectation I had and out performed JT Sanders not just as a blocker, which I expected but as a reciever which I did not.
Quinn Ewers can be a star if he is on a team with a good running game so he can do what he does best which is the RPO,he is not going to be a QB who stands in the pocket and makes some off scheduled runs to beat you as a rule. His game is a quick passing RPO game which he excels at.

The defense exceeded all my expectations in particular the inside DL. The emergence of Simmons to it to another level but what stood out to me was the communication between the 2nd and third levels,I credit Johnny Nansen for this. Also when the starting saftey is lost for the year there was no drop off from his back up,in fact there was little if any drop off at any position when a back up came in. This is a very talented and very deep defense. The future looks very bright on this side of the ball.

IMO the staff needs to pick up a starting level, big back from the portal,You are betting the season on a RB recovering from a very serious knee injury being 100%. He may well be back at a 100% level but he may not be.

I think we will be fine at DT with the portal additions and January stepping up,edge and LB should be betterand a comment I heard from a current player has me excited about Lance Jackson and Justus Terry.I was having lunch with him and his grandfather and I ask him about them participating in the practices and he said- People that big shouldn't be able to run like they both can.--utx
