I saw this for the first time today since you can buy online from amazon or ebay.Since I lived in that era the names of coaches and players, games were familiar. As a Texas fan,I thought Freddy was played well and it showed his drive, determination and just plain guts.It had highest highs and lowest-lows in a movie and I thought it showed Royal as tough and demanding but caring.i think most Texas fan would enjoy and Juston Street played his dad,James Street which was real special and thought he did a great job.

I think it showed that it takes one thing to be a good player "Heart", they said Freddy was to small and didn't weigh enough but he made up for it in his play and his heart, this movie was good and yes DKR did have a big heart and loved his players and was tough at the same time and he did found out if ya had it in ya to play for Texas one way or another, and Frank Media did keep the team on the field and he was tough doing it, more than half of the players the last ten yrs woulda never lasted his practices in that heat on that San Jacinto field..walk from Moore-Hill to the stadium get dressed and walk across the street to the field, not like MB having a bus bring them...
