Nebraska Sucks-- Frost is fired

Nebraska with a good start. Would love nothing more than to see the Huskers stomp a mud hole into OU today.

I remember when I couldnt wait to go pheasant hunting....until I did and then tried to eat the damned things. Never again...
Then you my friend, got fvcked.
You like quail?

Because that's what pheasant tastes like when you cook it properly.

Made some as appetizers this past Christmas.

Check it out--

Put pheasant in zip lock.
Half a bottle of Kraft Italian dressing
1 Tbsp of soy sauce
1 tbsp of teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp of Worchestishire sauce
2 cloves of garlic minced
Sprinkle in some Uncle Chris's steak seasoning
The a little adams season salt
Let sit on the fridge for 48 hours.

Grill it just like you'd grill chicken breasts
Flip it every 5 min or so at around 375 degrees

Carve it up and serve

You will literally slap yo dead momma.

Nebraska has way too many 1 and 2 star white guys on that team. They are very slow.

in my neck of the woods ou has been far and away the storied cheating program.
I will take a cheating bastard that never denies he is a cheating bastard over a whinney denying cheating bastard any day.

Nebraska is that bad but who knows how good OU is?...They have played a HS schedule so far.

I think our defense is better than it has been in a while. It might be a top 15 or 20 unit in the country. Some talent there but no real superstars.

Unfortunately our offense is just okay.

2nd Sat in Oct will be a street fight as usual.

Thought the offense looked pretty good today. Especially the running game. But you are right at RRS. It has been for most of the last 67 years I have been watching.

Might want to tap the brakes on your defense until you play a team with an offensive pulse first.

We all know OK hasn't been tested. They'll be playing KSU and then @ TCU. We don't yet how good those teams are.

But KSU has had some success against OK and TCU has a new coach. I'm just going to wait and see.

There's some truth to that, although Lincoln Riley/Alex Grinch let most Group of Five teams like Tulane put up big numbers. So if nothing else, that's already a significant improvement.

The most important step in this recipe is letting it soak for a day or 2. Pheasant is extremely lean and when treated like chicken it comes out dry, stringy & chewy.

We always soaked overnight in water whereas now you can vacuum seal it for an hour with similar results. My trick is heating up some fat and searing pheasant before roasting.

Haven't had fancy bird in a long time

After today, there's no doubt. Buckle up boy. 😉

I used to hunt pheasant in Highmore SD annually. Local's wife cooked it in a covered roasting pan with coke or dp @ 350. I like soaking in red wine and vinegar for a day or so.

Nebraska scored the first 7 points

They scored the last 7 points.

In between that Oklahoma scored 49 points.

That final score could have been much, much worse. Venables took his foot off the pedal in the second half and ran handoffs up the middle for the remainder of the game. If Tom Osborne had been coaching OU yesterday, they would have scored over 70 points (like he did against John Blake when he had Scott Frost throw a touchdown pass in the 4th quarter). Also, a lot of Nebraska’s yardage came against OU’s backup players.

There's no question that Nebraska is terrible, but even taking that into account, they don't get beat down at home like that. Not by Ohio State, not by Michigan, not by Penn State.

You’re right, they just get beat by Sun Belt teams at home 😂😂. That Nebraska team is the worst team they have fielded in over 50 years. They are awful.

Yes, they lost to a Sun Belt team at home. By one score. Just like they got beat by Big Ten teams at home. By one score. The beatdown they suffered yesterday was one of the worst in school history.

Most OU has ever scored in Lincoln. And the first game was in 1912. But that Husker D is the worst I have ever seen. D coach had to walk the plank today.
