Watched this last night and this might be a hot take, but....
Jerry Springer can eat a **** from the grave telling that TV camera he dismissively said he didn't remember the murdered woman or the man that murdered her, despite having them on the show just two months earlier and the episode had run the previous day.
Everyone on the show says that he's an awesome guy, but all I saw was a guy that knew the only way to deflect was to play dumb about the dynamics of the show and to always put an arm's distance between any blowback.
He knew at the end. "I'm going to hell."
