****Offical Texas Baseball Thread****

Thats a huge hole to fill I dont think we have anyone to slightly give us production.....
Gasparino showed some definite potential this weekend. He's got a short simple swing that generates a lot of pop. He looks like he's put on 20 or 30 lbs since last season and you can see it when he squares it up. If he can be close to what he showed in Mizzou, that will help soften the blow. Depending on how bad the thumb is, he could be back for the post season.

We are expecting the transfer from Louisiana Wittfield i think thats him to help but his transition to Texas hasn't been well.

Mixed feelings. Want Horns to keep winning, but lose to my Alma mater Texas 5-3.

Go Bobcats!
Max loss is going to impact the season? Hope one of these guys steps up. This will be fun to see how Schloss and team adjust. Is there another Ivan hiding in the wings?

Check this out-- you baseball weirdos will love this stat.

Of the 15 players that have swung a bat for Texas so far this year, 5 of them are batting over .300-- not bad. 5 dudes over .300 isn't bad at all.

Of the 15 players that have swung a bat for Tennessee this year, 11 of them are currently over .300........
Eleven. Including the starting 2nd baseman who is batting .425
