Yes we are. So far we’ve beat the teams we’re supposed to. I was waiting for a win like tonight to decide if we were elite or not. The first 2 games against LSU proved were definitely CWS caliber.
99 is a dude! How Schloss kept him from going pro is anybody’s guess. That kid could be making big money right now. 95 from the left side with a 4 pitch arsenal is money.

His arm angle and release is just so high. His high fastball just baits you into swinging.
I was watching that earlier today. He’s consistently around 95 on his fastball but because of his height / release point, it plays closer to 100.
So I became a grandad today. Looking forward to going to UT games with him. Maybe I’ll get to watch him play for UT in 18 yrs. Hook em!

I think Street was early 2000s. Knebel was 2013ish maybe.
Street is definitely the standard but if I remember right, Knebel was pretty much lights out for 2 or 3 years.
Sorry man you got your rules I got mine. Allow me to explain for the unwise. We had just gotten drubbed by LSU on the Fri game. Everyone jawing how great LSU is. UT went down early in the Sat game and it looked like another LSU win was in the offing. But we stormed back and fought through for a great win. It was worth celebrating given the lead up and how we manhandled them in the end. Nevertheless, yes, the series win was important but if Sat game doesn’t play out like it did, Sun game would have been moot. The Saturday win, and how we won, changed the whole weekend, and perhaps our whole season.

Ok sounds good. But LSU celebrated a single win. How’d that shot work out. We never, ever celebrated a Fri or Sat win. Celebrated a series win. Got over it by Monday morning.
