Gasparino is 3-4 with 2 HRs and 8 RBIs thru 5. So far we’ve been an offensive juggernaut this year in addition to being nasty on the mound.

Perfect example. But I gotta ask, is our success and record based on total wins vs losses or series wins vs series losses? You can lose a series and still have the best record. You can also hate every loss just as much as a series loss. A series win or loss does not necessarily mean you have the best or worst record. Analytically it doesn’t matter if you’re playing the same team three games on a weekend or three different teams. The record remains the same. To point, every game counts and every win should be celebrated.
Double header today because of threats of bad weather tomorrow. First game at 2pm. Both 9 innings.
