Overshown should have straight up decapitated that QB. I'd have taken the suspension.
Not so fast my friend. They got called for delay of game for false signal calling.
Oh yeah for got about that one late. Ok in 8 Qrts 120 mins of action one penalty called against the opposing team with those officials. Come on.
I predicted 8-4 at the beginning of the season but this season was a little disappointing. The defense has been a pleasant surprise but the offense, especially Ewers have regressed.
They should have easily been 10-2 or better. 4 losses by a combined 22 points.

Well we finished 8/4. Looking back I wish we could take the TT game back.
Improving to 8-4 from 5-7 and another top 3 recruiting class is what this staff needed. They got half that done. Looks like they’ll get the other half done in a few days.
This was huge. Finally winning the second half is crucial for our development.
I thought our offence would be unstoppable this year but it turned out to be a considerable improvement on D that did the trick. Plenty of room for improvement across the board but I'll gladly take a 3 game jump. Say what we will, year 2 was a big success and very easily could have been better.
If Ewers can get it clicking with WRs, Texas should be flirting with top 10 next year. Time will tell. Bijon will likely go pro but there's a slight possibility NIL $millions might entice a senior campaign. Doubtful but hopefully.

You mean bailing out the o lines pass blocking. Quinn played decent today, but when rushers come through untouched bad things happen to even the best Quarterbacks in the NFL.
Also, Quinn was right for jumping his o lines ass. Their pass blocking was trash.
Agree. I’m down on Quinn, but he was actually decent today.
RGlll and the other guy are actually pretty entertaining. Once you get used to the corny jokes and understand what they are trying to do they are pretty good. They had me laughing a couple of times… although maybe it was because I had a good buzz at the time.
It’s been 2 full years and the offensive coordinator made the same mistakes he made last year. I’m not sold fully on Sark yet. If you are then good for you. This was a 10 win season easily if not for his coaching mishaps in Lubbock and Stillwater this year.
He’s coaching an inconsistent team. Week to week and even half to half he doesn’t know what the team will do. That’s makes it hard to gameplan. It’s easy to look back and say we should have done this or that, but overall I see a team who got better throughout the year. Let him keep building.
The fact that some(granted a small number) want the coach fired in his 2nd year off a 3 game improvement from the year before is one of the reason Texas has failed to lure a big name coach here despite many efforts over the last 10 years
Nobody is saying Sark needs to be fired lol. I’m just simply saying the jury is out on him for me. I’m not sold he’s the guy long term. This year just left some question marks I had from last year.
There is literally a post on this thread that says “I’ve had it with this staff already” lol. This year left no questions about him as a coach.
If you think that translates to the coaches need to be fired you have some comprehension problems. You can get drunk all off-season on the burnt orange kool aid all you want but I’m not sold on this staff at this point. Coaching issues are the reason we aren’t a 10-11 win team this year. It’s not the personnel.
No. Coaching is also the reason we’re 8-4 instead of 5-7. The fact that several players improved from year 1 to year 2 and that a few freshman came in and we’re ready to play at a high level from day 1. That’s all coaching.
You can nit pick coaching decisions all you want, but this staff is legit. Does that mean they are perfect? Of course not no one is. There were sevreal on field mistakes that kept us from being 10-2. Let’s not forget Bijan fumbling in OT against Tech, worthy fumbling and dropping balls against ok state. It’s not all Coaching.
As far as my taking that comment for something it didn’t mean. Not sure how else your suppose to take it. If someone says “I’m tired of this coaching staff already” that would imply that they would like a new coaching staff
