So if the back up QB has to play and we get stuck behind the chains I should just say "It's all good...it is only once and our back up is in. No big deal."

Good news apperently sark said that CJ Baxter fell on the ball and hurt his ribs, but he was optimistic it wasn’t a serious injury. I was actually worried it was a shoulder issue because he fell pretty hard on that shoulder

One of the false start penalties was Witt the backup QB and backup players, and it happened because Malik was trying to get in the right play. I know it hurts your argument but context DOES matter. So the stating unit has ONR false start penalty. That happens.

The penalty was committed by the 3rd year starter Jake Majors. You know the guy who is good for 1 to 2 a game. How’s that for ****ing context??

How the **** does a center, the guy who dictates when the play starts, commit at least 1 false start or snap infraction a game. That’s inexcusable!

Quinn was the butt of a bunch of jokes where I was watching the game. He’s pretty much a joke at this point because of all the hype he gets. He looks like a clown when he throws those ducks that land in Egypt. Meanwhile Weigman is lighting it up, I would trade right now.

May not matter when you’re playing Rice, but next week against Bama it could be the difference in winning and losing the game. Offense was sloppy as ****. There’s literally no other way to put it.

Completed 64% of his passes with 3 tds and no turnovers and another rushing td. Had a passer rating of 170. Needs to work on the deep ball but he was on the money in the short and intermediate stuff. Saying he was a joke is dumb.

One thing people forget about Quinn this was his 11th college start. He’s barely played one season worth of games. His deep ball has been an issue, but I don’t think it was all him today. I think Sandees comes down with that if wittijgton doesn’t get in the way, and Mitchell got interfered with on another

Dude was 19-30 260 and 3TD’s and brooks dropped a 4th TD. If he does that every week people can make all the punchlines they want.

Whatever happened to throwing it more to the field instead of 2yds out of bounds? If Worthy has everyone beat and there's no safety over the top...give him something he can go catch.

The reason it's always to Worthy is because he's the quickest feet on the team and has the best hands. Hard to catch the ball when it's stuck on the back of the defender, but he almost did. 😆

We didn't see the stuff they have been working on all summer. Most of that is being saved for next week. I went back and looked at the game and it looked like they were trying to stay with the called play. Didn't look like they were trying to adjust to the different fronts too much. Maybe trying to keep as much as they can off of the game film. At least that is looking at the game through orange colored glasses.

I have a new nickname. Baxter, Blue, and Brooks all played well today. The killer bees. I don't know if it was the ol or just talent but these guys can really produce this year. We can even do this without any of them getting more than 18 touches a game. People complain about Brooks dropping that pass but few people on here are taking about the pass he did catch. If he gets around the corner few people will stop him. We can beat the mighty Alabama crimson tide if the killer bees play like they're capable of they're that good.

You know I was watching a podcast this summer and these guys were talking about how our ol graded higher in pass blocking than run blocking last year he said they finished in the top 25. Maybe were not looking at our line play right. And Ewers did throw 3 td passes and don't forget he ran for a 4th. They said we graded lower in run blocking and that Bijan did what he did mostly on talent. You know we started the same 5 guys every regular season game last year so they have a years experience now we have to be patient. The killer bees are good enough that we can get an explosive play from each one every game.

Look our offense was real basic today. I saw where it was 97 in Austin today. By halftime at least 30 guys on offense played at least one snap I'm sure it was the same on defense. We'll have a more elaborate, sophisticated offense for Alabama. It's only Rice but our defense can be really good this year and if our line can play like this against Alabama we have a good chance. They were sensational today. Carrot top played well and you have to admire a white guy who has enough swag to wear a fro like that 😂

And weevil the most overrated stat in sports is good as your last game.
