***OFFICIAL TEXAS vs the Basketball school*** game thread

The defense has really showed up the last couple weeks. You add a couple impact guys though recruiting and the portal you are gonna have a real defense next season.

Sark tried to kill the drive, Bijan said fvck that.
I don’t think he was trying to kill the drive. I think he was saying “Bijan go get me a TD” he wants to keep the hall out of Quinn’s hands today it would appear

I guess I’ll have to take your word for it… but, at what point does the forward progress end? The whistle being blown is the only signal I can think of.
Just to be clear I agree with you and thought it was a fumble. It was just a bang bang play and they blew the play dead. That’s what makes it unreviewable even if the fumble did occur a second before the whistle.

It obviously ended up working out, but what was the point of Sark letting the clock run from 1:04 to 28 seconds on 4th and 2, if he was going to go for it regardless. I get he’s hoping Ewers can draw them offsides, but I didn’t understand running all that clock at all.

That’s called not trusting your QB to throw the ball. He was playing for 3 and got lucky.

Eh I get what he was doing. If it ends up being 4-5 you probably aren’t going for it, so you don’t want to leave too much time on rye clock.

Yeah he obviously doesn’t want Quinn throwing much. I live about 40 mins away from Lawerence it’s windy today and Quinn has struggled with wind.

He was playing for 3 and not giving Kansas the ball back with time

I have been really hard on PK this year and I have to say that this defense has really improved as the season has progressed. This is a really good Oansas offense. They are top 30 in the nation in total offense.

young guys are starting to get it figured out.

I get it. But theres 1:04 left on the clock, two timeouts, Texas offense has been clicking all game, Bijan has been a monster, KU offense looks pedestrian, Texas defense playing well, ball on 40 etc. I would think the odds say to preserve the clock and go for the td.
