The loser faces the Arizona St/Iowa St winner and Boise/UNLV winner in back to back games. Yes, it’s two games vs one, but they are both virtually gimmes.
It’s like the Bush Bowl, college version.
(And I realize Penn State would drop to 6 if they lose and Texas loses, but we ain’t losing and they’ll know that by kickoff)
The issue is the ACC/MW/Big 12 champions getting a lock on the 3 and 4 seeds. That needs to change.
