The loser faces the Arizona St/Iowa St winner and Boise/UNLV winner in back to back games. Yes, it’s two games vs one, but they are both virtually gimmes, especially with the first one at home.
It’s like the Bush Bowl, college version.
(And I realize Penn State would drop to 6 if they lose and Texas loses, but we ain’t losing and they’ll know that by kickoff)
The issue is the ACC/MW/Big 12 champions getting a lock on the 3 and 4 seeds. That needs to change.
