The thing that sealed their fate was the 911 call. They said “there is a black man running down the street”. Never did they mention that they thought he stole something, or what have you. They just said “there is a black man running down the street”. It wasn’t until after the fact they started talking about him being in the sub division and maybe a crime having occurred. The jury clearly saw through that.
The other thing is. Even if you did believe he had stole something call the cops and let them deal with it. The whole citizens arrest thing is an antiquated idea that really probably shouldn’t exist today. They deserve whatever they get and probably more.

What sealed their fate was the video and no proof of theft. Also when you have an ex law enforcement involved thinking he knows the law and is still the law it’s a formula fo disaster. They all will get what they deserve and thank god for the video because we all know these men would’ve lied to get out of this cluster f$ck they caused.

Too add to that the county prosecutor is facing corruption charges because she allegedly told the dad to make sure they washed hands and clothes, and she would get the cops to back off. So there was going to be a coordinated effort to murder this kid and just cover it up. Luckily that did not happen.
While I’d agree, it was a great time for me. Should we have been there? By most opinions, no. We’re we “welcome” at first? Certainly not. Did I dig my heals in and make friends? Hell yes. It was two women in their 50’s that first made us feel welcome. Even if they had video evidence of him stealing something, there’s still no justification to use deadly force in attempt to detain him (citizens arrest). Unless they were being threatened by him with physical harm, there’s no reason to kill him with a shotgun.
The jury heard no evidence of racism being a motivation for their crimes. Unless there are new facts that are discovered in the upcoming Federal hate crime matter, the feds may have a tough time proving that Arbery was killed due to racial animus.

How embarrassing is this country that those groups are actually hoping justice isn’t served or that the decision/verdict that they want isn’t delivered just so they can have a free pass to loot and riot. All I know is, the right has been watching this crap allowed in the Democrat run states for a couple years now and I’d be willing to bet the next republican elected as President in 2024 will go in riding and whooping and restoring order by any means necessary. The whole citizens arrest thing(at least in GA) was passed in the 1860’s shortly after Lincoln freed the slaves. The thinking being they could allow citizen’s to capture slaves escaping their owners, and the state of GA never removed it from the books until after this happened so not only did this situation not warrant a citizens arrest as you say, but it’s a law that isn’t really a valid thing in 2021, nor should it be. The last thing you want is average people running around playing cop.
The thing is did he say anything racist while shooting Arbery. You can’t use social media post a year before and nothing to do with the shooting. Are they racist who knows maybe but it’s going to be hard to prove.

Actually I am a white man fàthered 7 white kids have 4 biracial granddaughters. But I am angry about southern justice. When the judge encourages one of the convicted to clean up and originally drops charges that has happened for a long time in the south.

There was no rise in crime in the area. The convicted admitted he got some of his information from Facebook.
On other matters have any of you ever spoken with someone who had an abortion? Their emotional response describing everything involved with it made it impossible to pass for me to pass judgement on them. But you guys don't have any problem with that.
