I’m in the process of buying a 1978 Corvette and looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic in DFW (preferably in or near McKinney).
My dad owned this car from 1990-2010, when he sold to my Uncle. I’ve got a ton of great memories with this car - I was in 3rd grade when he bought it and very excited for it to be mine.
My uncle has had quite a bit of work done on it in the last year or so, but it may need a new camshaft which I’ll need to take care of. Anyone here have experience with good mechanics on classic cars in this area?
Also, anyone have recommendations for shipping a car like this? It’s in Kingsland now and I’ll need to get it transported to McKinney.
