It’s no different than other super flu’s we’ve seen. Your immune system is either compromised or it’s not. If you get it, just like other flu’s, you may die. Looks to me that China may be wanting to shake up world economies, most notably the US for obvious reasons.
On a side note, Bernie Sanders is getting my vote in the upcoming election. There are quite a few very financially successful posters here on Orangebloods and I’m ready for Bernie to redistribute their wealth to guys like me. So, all you go get em hard workers keep it up, I’m going back to bed.

The masks can stop the virus if it is riding on dust particles. If it is free floating in the air, then it is unlikely to stop it. If you get a mask, make sure it is N95, they are rated for Viruses. But if you really want to guarantee you won't get it, you should wear a NBC filtration full face mask.
If you get a disposable mask, then dispose of them after use, I read that people are getting the virus in China because they keep reusing their masks.
I don't eat Sushi or fish bait, whatever ya call it, don't eat any kind of Chinese food, Jap , Chi or Viet, nit no telling where that shit come from, I talked to the guy at HEB Sushi bar here in the Bluff and hear some magical tails from the Farside about HEB Sushi, won't eatr the Buffets, all this dog meant these guys use and shit, go to China or Japan or Viet if ya want to see some weird shit to eat, they cut a lotta buffets out down here cause they caught them using dog and cat meat...this is the cause of so many diseases, crap from over there..
That's friggin' disgusting! So is all of the uncooked or undercooked food that Asians eat.
Not to go and make this all political, but we are still importing a shit ton of illegals from China in cargo boats, I wonder what those sanctuary cities are going to say when a boat load of Corona comes to their city to work for nothing in their sweat shops. I'm sure they will find some way to blame Trump.

First case of Corona where the individual has had no known contact with someone that has the disease comes to California. I predict Sanctuary cities are going to get their butts kicked by this disease, and their leadership is going to be to blame.

This has nothing to do with sanctuary cities. The guy that tested positive lives near Travis AFB where Covid 19 patients are being quarantined. A CDC whistle blower said that people involved in the transfer of patients were not wearing the proper personal protective equipment. The most likely scenario is one of the people involved in the transfer contracted the virus and has spread it to the community. This likely indicates that there is a symptomatic transfer of the virus which means it really isn't going to be contained. If its like the influenza virus then millions could get infected, hundreds of thousands will miss work and school, somewhere between 40-60 thousand people will be hospitalized and 10-20 thousand people will die. That also means that the 2% fatality rate reported in Asia is high. Its probably closer to the flu between which is around .2-.5% depending on the season.
Until they develop a vaccine all you can do is wash your hands, take care of your nutrition and hydration, and avoid crowded places. If you live in a city with confirmed cases it might be a good idea to wear a mask when you leave your house.
