OT- Dirt, Netflix does it again

I’ve started it and WOW. To live like a rockstar.
And as I told my wife, I had to close the door to the tv room, debauchery.

There are two parts that I want to talk about but they are spoilers so I will keep my mouth shut until more of you have watched it.

Is it good though? I read the book, but have heard a lot of negative reviews. Just wondering from a normal fan's point of view if it was quality.

That wasn't one of the two parts, but that was some quality TV right there.

No movie could ever encapsulate what it's like to be a rock star.

Everybody wants to be a Rock Star, but Rock Stars want to be actors.....who want to be politicians

Just finished watching The Dirt. Damn! I'm sure that wasn't even close to what all happened during the Crue's time together. All of them are lucky to be alive.

The part I had to watch about four times was the "24 hours in Tommy Lee's day".

That sh!t right there had me falling off my couch.

" 10:30 mother fvcker drum solo in a giant spinning steel cage WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Okay, so the two parts that I wanted to talk about.

Watching the part where Vince Neal lost his daughter, was hard, as you guys know I have 4 daughters, and that part hit me right in the heart. I can't imagine what he went through.

The other part I wanted to mention was Ozzy. No story of Ozzy from the 80's surprises me. I went to his 1982 concert in San Antonio. That was the one that almost didn't happen because he pissed on the Alamo. I can guarantee you if they cancelled that show, there would have been a riot in down town San Antonio.

It took a very long time for the city of San Antonio, to let him back in.

It's funny growing up in the 80's our parents thought they were raising a generation of devil worshippers. from Motley Crue, to Ozzy, to Iron Maiden, Black Sabboth, Ronnie James Dio. You name it. Each one tried to top the rest.

And looking back they were all just doing their best to be outragious. Give the fans something more. I remember listing to an interview with Dio and he was the coolest guy, nothing like his persona.

So what was more impressive to you:

When ozzie snorts a line of fire ants?
When Ozzie pisses on the ground and licks it up?
When Nikki Sixx pisses on the ground and ozzie licks it up?

Snorting fire ants doesn't do it for you?

For any normal human being, I'd say yes but this is Oz we are talking about, and licking up some other dudes piss is a whole other level of nasty. If I had to choose between snorting ants and biting off the head of a bat with the accompanying rabies shots, I'll snort the ants.
